Maude Baum and Company Dance Theatrein Concert at the Palace TheaterMaude Baum and Company Dance Theatre will perform 2 concerts on April 30, 2005 at the Palace Theater (19 Clinton Ave. Albany), marking the beginning of an arts partnership between Maude Baum and Company Dance Theatre and the Palace Theater. A family matinee concert will take place at 2:30 pm, an evening concert at 8:00 pm, and a pre- Concert Benefit Reception from 6:30-7:45 pm on the mezzanine level of the Palace. Reception attendees will receive VIP loge seating for the 8:00 pm concert, and a complimentary copy of ISADORA: A Sensational Life - personally signed by the best seller author, Peter Kurth, at the reception. "Maude Baum and Company Dance Theatre in Concert features daring, witty and emotional Dance Theatre from the City of Albany's Premiere Dance Company" - Mayor Gerald D. Jennings. Concert includes works by Maude Baum, and America's Modern Dance innovator, Isadora Duncan. This Concert event is the first event of a mutually rewarding partnership between eba, Inc. and the Palace Theatre. eba, Inc. is the umbrella organization of Maude Baum and Company Dance Theatre.
